hi,it was workin fine but now it isent,got the wiring diagram in front of me and it says that the 2 grey/green wires(white plug) are responsible for illumination on the gte loom,my question is what colour is the corsa wire i need to join these up too- i seem to be a wire short and it gets dark quick now so i cant be assed! help greatly appreciated!

The digital dash is permanently illuminated regardless of whether or not the lights are on. The grey/green is a light warning wire, not a dash illumination wire.
The brown wires from both plugs are all earth, the black wires are all ignition lives, if these are all connected the dash should be lit.

bugger! all blacks together and all browns together and still no illumination,think ive broke it!

So you have no power to the dash I gues, is it doing anything at all?

are your brake lights working? if they aint check that fuse. if its blown it will take all the dash out
