MY MATE HAS THE TURBO OF ONE THESE IN HIS GARAGE,(BRAND NEW). WHAT WORK WOULD BE INVOLVED AND WHAT WOULD BE NEEDED TO PUT THIS ON THE ENGINE. WHAT ENGINE WOULD IT GO ON?

u would be correct (whoever is was) who said a 2.2 aint a turbo

That was me mate, did'nt think the 2.2 was a turbo, the turbo is 2.0l ain't it. Then I had a feeling I was wrong and deleted it.

your looking at around 3-4k for a turbo conversion

Yeah how much would it cost to transplant a KKK turbo to whatever engine he is running. You gotta think about copmression, strengthened internals, sod all reliabilty etc etc

If your "mate" can't even get the engines right i deffo wouldn't advise sticking (or trying) to put a 2.0 Turbo in

this is what i thought?? He wants to stick the turbo in his 1.2 8v and make at least 60bhp

ud also need a custom manifold and pipes

u should be able to nick an intercooler of another car, dunno what 1 tho

then engine strengthening, then some1 with the know how on how to do it

and all that will cost 1000s, not worth it
