i have the mechanical gauges not electrical so have all senders, can i remove the sump plug and use the sump plug hole to fit my oil temperature gauge sender thing to, or will it not give a good reading, cant see why not?!

depends how big your probe is and the nut that it screws into,mine was a fair bit bigger so i bought a spare sump for a tenner,got me dad to braise it on and swapped over which a new sump gasket which was leaking anyway

wow mine wernt hat cheap payed 60 for oil temp and oil pressure, spit fire ones.

Just unscrew it and quickly screw the other plug in - if you're REALLY fast you won't lose any oil at all.

If you want even more of a challenge, go for a quick 10 mile blat in the car to get the engine nice and toasty
