Right, I've been reading through the Gears of War thread and all the other recent Xbox ones and now rather interested in getting myself an 360 ...perhaps now, perhaps after Christmas....so, some more Xbox 360 questions.....
- What leads does it connect to a non-HD TV through - is it scart like my old PS2?
- How would I go about connecting it up to my hi-fi for better sound?
- What 4 games would you recommend most to start off with (after gears of war)?
- Does it come with wireless controllers as standard?
- Don't suppose it has built-in wireless card does it?
and also,
- Anyone know what am I likely to get on trading in a PSP and 4 games roughly? Worth doing or should I just keep them???
Not going to have a chance to go into town until next week probably otherwise I'd just go ask....
Cheers,
Andrew

- For non HDTVs you can use the standard yellow RCA lead. Or plug the three RCA leads into a scart adapter.
- Use the red and white RCA leads straight into the back of the stereo. It won't be better sound as such, probably just louder. Use an optical cable to connect up to a 5.1 surround sound for the best quality
- PGR3, Oblivion, PES6 (Or fifa) and Condemned.
- The Premium console does yes. The Core pack comes with a wired pad.
- Afraid not. You have to purchase this seperately.
Can't help with the trade in question i'm afraid

2 more days and I will own mine.
Dave with regards to point 2, dont you need to buy an aftermarket AV receiver unit to plug the Xbox into surround sound? Or is that just to work with my surround sound?

apk on your first point I seem to remember there was a scart adapter in the box so you can connect it like you do with your PS2

I heard Tony Hawks is awesome. You have to manually perform kick flips using the sticks and stuff.

Nice one Dave - answers everything in one hit....just need to make sure I haven't got to upgrade my TV at the same time.
Does need doing though....the sound quality is shocking - I listen to most TV through my stereo to get a decent amount bass.
Steve - whats TDU? Call of Duty looks good...been ages since I played a good FPS.
Not so keen on Tony Hawks...used to be but then it seemed to go rapidly downhill so gave up on the series

get call of duty 3, FIFA and GOW and get on live from some serious gaming. (it may be worth getting rid your girlfriend before you invest)

just think though, it takes everything awkward away from a meet. The dodgy silences, the cold weather, the petrol cost.

yes, you'll need to purchase the Microsoft Network adapter for the 360. It clips into the network port on the back of the 360. It's around £50.
