Think you'd need a 2.0 8v driver engine mount and rest i think is ok.

Nah you need gearbox and pas mount aswell surely??
But depending what your after, could go for a redtop but theres much LESS work involved with an 8v

yeah you put a spacer on the gearbox linkage, the power steering is fine

joy of the 8v is room to work on it once the engine is in the car...
you need to change the drivers side mount and put the spacers on the rear mount...also the gear linkage needs playing wit. oh and a few pipes need to be fabricated.
is the same block as the XE, so it needs all the same bits to mount up.

yeah i thought they had the same bottom end, you can buy an 8v engine for really cheap now, could put one of them in first and just change the head for the xe later on
