I have heard bad things about them, from what I know they just aren't up to the same quality as other wheels around that are slightly more expensive. I know someone who went over a small bump near mine and buckled his Fox wheels, I hit that bump nearly every day and my TSW's aint got any damage.

basically you get what you pay for with them there decent enough for the average person but the materials used are of the same quality of someone like OZ and bigger names. These wheels are also alot heaver which slows you down more.. But they can look good and are cheap

well i'm running a 2.0 16v engine on my fox wheels and if you saw how i take speed humps u'd be shocked ,people who have bad opinions of them have never owned any in my experience
they are no heavier than a tsw/oz wheel

I personally wouldnt even think about buying them, ever. But thats just my personal preference, from what I have heard and what I know they are nothing to really be happy with. But each to their own.
I'll just be sticking with my TSW's.

I have never owned them but because I would never even consider buying them I know I wouldnt be happy with some if I had some.
I dont like the designs, or the apparent quality, or lack of it. They just ooze cheap and tacky, just like stick on fuel caps.

so i'm lying then the quality is shit,no it isn't if that was the case i would of said so,and got rid of them and bought a different wheel, but i have had no problems and niether has any 1 else (who owns them)and posted in this thread,so 1 person says the quality is shit must of been a dodgy set cos like i say no one else has had a problem with them, and i hope they do ooze cheap and tacky cos you only need to look how much i've spent on my car to see that its a long way from being cheap or tacky and the same with shawboy car

Someone asked a question, I answered to the best of my knowledge as accuratly as I could.
From what I have heard and seen of Fox wheels I dont think they are that good, and from an actual incident involving the brand of wheel I have a good reason for what I say.
Oh and granted you may have spent some dollar on your car, but that doesnt mean that fox alloys are good just because you have them.
I personally feel that those wheels you have look shit on your car and actually ruin the look of it, but pardon me for having a comment and trying to display it.

Depending on the kit you choose depends on your drop.
If your having 15's then a 40mm drop will get you alright with most kits except extreme ones, yet if your getting a kit that isnt really that big you can have a 60mm drop and get the slammed look with a nice kit.
45 profile is definatly the best option if your going for looks.

Also handling wise 45 profile should give an edge over 50 profile because of less flex in the side walls.

Ive got the same wheels as Dan_Corsa in Titanium (not available any more).
Never had a problem with them.
Running pretty much same set up of 50 profile tyres and -40mm GMAX springs.
Ive heard of several wheels from other manufacturers bucling and going square but this was due to very low profile tyres.

45's will flex less so i guess they are, but will also give less grip when you hit a bump as the wheel is more likely to bounce.
I use 50's as there cheaper, less chance of wrecking me wheel and are a closer size to the standard wheel tyre size (0.01% smaller).

I have 195/45/VR15 Falken ZE512 tyres on my TSW Evo R's, now I have hit some big holes at speen and not seen them and I have never damaged my wheels, before these tyres I had Nankang 195/45 tyres aswell, still no problem.
50 profile tyres lack the handling prowess yet give a comfier ride they can in theory give more grips on bumps but that is more in relation to the suspension, 45 profile tyres improve handling because they have less flex, look much sweeter and you can deck 60mm on 15's and still get no scraping with a full car.
