Really pissing me off now...Thats 2 games and both started OK for a bit then went the same way, the 2nd one went alot faster though, within 20 mins of playing it..Was a about 8 hrs of game play i the 1st one before problems arised??
So does anybody think it's the console itself? It seems to play other games fine....
Getting on my goat now
its probably as you are at a certain stage in the game, updates on live are normally to fix bugs and glitches that were missed when the game was released.
you shouldnt need the update but its worth a try

TBH thats a fucking joke if it's thats the case that I need updates to play the game...
I will go on live once i start and finish my wee PC/GAME room..Got a good mind to take the game back and just get my money back...
I am really not happy..No where DOES it say YOU NEED to be on live...
The game should come with no glitches, thats what development and testing is for.

just the way things are now really mate, and from their point of view it gets people signed upto live and more money for them. Some pc games you cant even install these days if you dont have the internet.
Cant you just plug your xbox into your internet connection, registed a silver account, download the update n be done with it?

signing up to Live takes all of 5 minutes mate, it might be worth giving it a go and downoading the updates before you resort to sending it back etc..
Hook it up to your pc or or modem/router, put your hotmail details in and away you go. You'll get a months worth of Gold membership free too.

Just can't see why it's only that game???
I will be going live when I do my wee room for pc and that but at the moment need to move tv's and xbox etc and i can't be arsed..I am going to take the game back to the shop and get a refund i think until the time comes where i can go live...It's all wank TBH...............
If the game isn't developed well enough so it will play fine on the machine without any problems and without having to go live to get updates IMO should not be for sale

er cant be arsed to read everything, but if you get "disk read errors" at totally random occasions its the dvd drive, happens with mine and my friends.
gonna get it replaced one of these days, i love the 360 but its fucking shocking they made it so poorly.
not to mention to get it fixed outside of warranty is like £65 when its there fault, they should fix it for free.
mines been knacked since i first got it.

i got a new reciept when i took mine back to game, and i thought that due to the statatory rights the replacment is classed as a new product and the 12 months warranty gets started again?

nope statute laws only give you 12 months from the time you purchase the item.
unless you got a new recipe and it dont say replacment on it, then you win lol.

they have to admit the defect first lol, hence people having to shell out £65 for a fix after there warranty runs out.
