Depends what engine you have and how far into modifying the car you go really.
The trip computer features are: outside temperature, average speed, instant consumption, average consumption, stop watch, I think there is a distance traveled counter as well just like on your speedo clocks and can be reset. Also the sensors can be such are: coolant level, oil level, washer fluid level, headlight and taillight checker and brake pad sensors(given that you actually have them)

Well yes but as I said depends on how far you go into modifying the car to suit it.

so if you fit the astra MFD onto a 1600 the mpg will be accurate? and the corsa 1600 has a coolant level sender and washer bottle sender?

The MPG will be correct because you connect it too the ECU which tells it all it needs to know to work it out. No a Corsa Sport doesn't have the senders but coolant and washer fluid but are easierly bought off ebay or from a scrapyard. Its been done many times before and will continue to be done.

Does the 2000 corsa have a coolant level sender and washer bottle sender?

These are all the functions the Astra Mfd:
Bulb Failure Front/Rear
Mpg
'Range' Which I think is how many miles you can do on the fuel you have left at the speed you are currently travelling at.
Stopwatch
Washerfluid Level
Coolent Level(Don't think you can have this on a x14xe)
Oil Level(Don't think you can have this on a x14xe)
Average speed over the journey
Brake Pad Warning

Not long really, the majority of wiring is just splicing and/or joining from new wires you have made.

Take it that since Dave has not answerd he has no reasoning?
I dont see how it wont be accurate because you connect it to your Ecu which is for your engine
