get the other nut on there first. There's a reason why there should be 4 bolts holding it on

if the 3 bolts are tight, it wont matter -
chris likes using hylomar anyays, so no doubt he sealed it...
you prob dont hava flatspot, just you peak has increased to 5k upwards..
messy - vaccume pipes everywhere, and a bodged inlet pipe!

lol we didnt have an inlet pipe that fitted so we made one up lol?? it doesnt seem to be any quicker even in high revs of low gears and top speed is lower. chris was telling me that the gains would be massive and would be able to feel easily??

i no he knows his stuff, so wouldnt have fitted anything wrong, i dont have a standard fpr and i dint change it, someone before me did

oh, when ive fitted them befor ive had to shorten the earth bolt, as it raises one corner of the manifold.....
may be worth a try.

alternator bolt, stud should of been removed and replaced with a bolt

would a performance garage be able to check over the inlet manifold, their is one in taunton called performancedriven ( www.performancedriven.co.uk )
do you wreckon they would do a quick check for me for free or would i have to pay - if so how much??

i had this on the same inlet and it turned out to be a vacuum leak between the box and top of the lower inlet.You also gotta make sure all the 3 bolts are done up tight on the t/b and the 4th is in there tight too(the threaded 3/4 inch bit and nut)seal it all with gasket sealer and if you cant seal the box to the lower inlet then use 2 inlet gaskets.Unfortunately you get what you pay for mate!!

Why not just take it down there, explain the situation to them and I'm sure they will be kind enough to have a look for free.
