Yeah, but it's going to take 'weeks' to upload your music apparently

Another thing I've just thought of.
How much longer can they claim 500mb data is enough for the majority of people when everything is in the cloud, twats.

That was at Steve Job's piss-taking on Google's cloud based music service where he said 'It'll take weeks to upload'.
I am a little curious to know what the legal stance is of people downloading music (ie: they haven't paid for it), iTunes not 'matching' it and uploading said music to Apples iCloud. Wouldn't that be a little illegal?

Another way for Apple to further control the people who buy their products? Surely you wouldn't be able to use illegally downloaded material over it?

The $25 charge will probably cover your ass somehow. Apple have paid out a lot of money for the service

Had an iPhone and went back to Desire, I'd be bored with whatever I had, I've owned it for more than 5 minutes.

I can only assume that the $100m contracts Apple has in place with the record companies allow uploaded content to be deemed legal even if not purchased. All seems a little iffy though.....

And that is why Apple have paid a reported 25 Million dollers for the first year to each of the major music labels.
I still don't quite get the music match.
If it does match your music - you can then download it on other devices - once you have done that, whats to stop you cancelling the subscription as you now have "legal" copies on one of your devices and then can share these using the normal syncing? Or does it mark the files as Music Matched files and now allow you to sync them back into the cloud at a later date.

you taking the piss? not sure if you tried an ordinary desire but the desire s with the new android, imo is far more user friendly then an iphone, you can turn on all the slick effects etc if you want, it also has a far more advanced way of dealing with open apps, can you even multitask yet on the iphone 4?

Yes, in a way that doesn't eat your battery in 5 minutes.
Either way...can of worms.
