Got them from crazyleds.co.uk
The twist ones for the clocks are expensive but they're high quality and better than any I've used before.

Noticed a couple of days ago the car had lost some oil. Checked underneath and there was a small leak around the sump plug. The whole sump looks a bit oily though so I'll be bringing an oil change forward and replacing the gasket and plug/washer while I'm at it. I checked the torque of the sump plug and it was ever so slightly loose, so I've tightened it to 55Nm (only about a quarter turn from where it was) and I'll see if that prevents it from leaking any more - unlikely from such a small amount of tightening.
Bought the following:
Oil
Oil filter
Magnetic sump plug
Sump gasket
Collinite 476s wax
Is it necessary to use gasket sealant for the sump gasket and thread lock for the sump bolts?
Also bought four new tyres (Firestone Multihawk) with fitting and balancing included. Will be getting them put on on Saturday.
These just turned up today. Bloody quick delivery, only ordered them yesterday!

This also arrived today (thanks Shaun for the recommendation and link :thumbs):

The power has been off all day in my flat so I've been unable to do any Uni work...perfect opportunity to go the scrappies I thought! Spent around 3 hours there getting everything I could think of lol. They didn't have everything I was after but I've picked up a few bits I wasn't planning on getting plus a few extras to sell.

All washed up:

Bits I'll be keeping for my car:
1x Tigra coin tray

Black rear door handles/pockets:

Black rear door handle covers:

Black window winders:

Black rear door trim:

Post 97 boot lock surround (paint on my one is flaking badly):

Map light (think it was out of a Vectra):

Corsa C gear knob:

I'll be selling:
Tigra coin tray
Tigra scuttle panel
Passenger side underseat sliding tray with mounting bracket and screws
Vectra smoked interior light
I don't like the Corsa C bobbly rubber knob, prefer the Corsa B leather one so I set about swapping just the top bit over.

Pretty grimey:

Nice and clean:

Back together with Corsa C top bit on Corsa B knob:

Didn't require any modification whatsoever, just a straight swap and looks much nicer in my opinion.
Also fitted the new courtesy light. Before:

After:

Will probs fit a few more of the little things to the car tomorrow.
Cheers

Got this in the post this morning. Reason for getting another is that this one doesn't have the Omega computer controls on the end like my other one does. Me being a bit of a perfectionist meant I wasn't happy with having redundant buttons on the stalk lol. Very rare to find one with rear wiper control and no computer control buttons; first one I've come across since I started looking months ago.
Was absolutely filthy though, pics don't really show quite how grimey it was:

Gave it a good scrub with a baby wipe and it's gleaming now The amount of shit that came off it was disgusting!

Other one will be up for sale when I get round to swapping them over
Cav RARB also got delivered today, could do with a couple of new bushes and clamps so I'll get them ordered off eBay later.

Cheers, really easy to do and I've not seen anyone else do it
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Did a few things this afternoon.
Got the wiper stalk swapped over, here's the difference between them (new one on the bottom):

Swapped my damaged bootlock surround for a standard one:

Got two new clamps for when I fit the Cav RARB:

Changed all of the rear door plastics to black and the front door window winders too. No pics though as they would give away a PVS surprise Having a couple more small bits flocked as well

Cheers. I would actually colour code more things if it was easy to get a good colour match with Atlantis blue but it's a pig!

We've got a good place local that mixes up spray cans in whatever colour if you give them the paint code, the paint match is very good on mine. If you need a batch made up I could probably go get you some to see what the match is like and get it sent down

I do know a couple of places where I can get some good stuff, but I can't really afford to be spending a tenner on a can when my painting skills aren't even that good lol.
After all of the time, faff and bother of sanding priming spraying etc I may as well just pay for things to be done professionally.

But I can't afford professional spraying at the moment either
Ideally I'd have the door handles, bootlock surround, bumper tops and arches all done.
Loved how my car looked when the arches and bumpers were colour coded before but it was a really shit job. Bad colour match, very flat finish, patchy...generally shit lol.

They're for the end buttons on the stalk that are used for the Omega's on board computer thing I think. Not sure what they stand for though.

Haha, nope. Unfortunately the Corsa isn't quite as technically advanced as the Omega lol.
That stalk is up for sale now by the way if you're interested

Ahh you don't have a rear wiper do you? Should be fairly easy to find one without the end buttons then. Finding one that has rear wiper control and no end buttons is near impossible! Took me several months to come across this one.

Got a new aerial. Old one:

Got a black one to replace it which looks much better, but the connector piece is too long Will take it into the Uni workshop at some point and trim it down with a hacksaw so the aerial sits flush with the base. Could probably do with a new rubber seal as well lol.

Just fitted the flocked door handles:

And the headunit surround; before:

During:

After:

Flocked bits never look as good in photos as they do in real life lol.

No, some pleb who owned the car before me created that mess. Really annoying.
Plan is to eventually get a black dash in there. There's one in good condition at a local scrappys I may get before PVS.

Another update
Fitted my Cav RARB this evening. Must say I'm pretty impressed with it. Don't think it's placebo, definitely corners better than before. Less body roll it seems.

Also wrapped my parcel shelf in black fabric. Planning on getting some black plastics and dash form a Corsa in a scrappys near me but the parcel shelf has already been taken This has worked out quite well though.
