got a new battery in my car bout 4 weeks ago as my old one died. but now having the same problem, car wouldnt start so i jumped it off my bros and after 2 mins all the lights were dimming and then went off. its not the alternator so what is it? 1.5td by the way.

sorry to butt in but my alternator is whining a little but is working
if i sprayed it woith wd it wont stuff it up will it?

do you mean the belt?
Just replace it chief - they are dirt cheap and its an easy job
