on my corsa sri 1.4 8v l reg when i rev it hard, it makes a water noise which is loud if u don't have any music on
Is it something to do with the water pump will i need to change it?? is it an hard job??

At last someone with the same problem as me, is the sound coming from behind the drivers side m8, mines is the C20 XE and i've searched all over the engine bay to find any leaks but no luck.

hhmm, could be airlocks in the system and they are swirling thru the martix, thats what your hearing. Never came across this before thou.

i can safely presume that this is water running through the heater matrix. maybe it is freezing in the matrix and the sound is like that because of icy water? Is that a long shot?

why dont you just get a compression test done, or else check the plugs
the you will know for sure
and water wont freeze in the matrix as it uses the coolant system water

I agree with craig, i think its airlocks, i had a similar problem, a few weeks after my rad was changed.

well if you have air locks then you wont get any hot air thru your blowers, so again thats easily tested

true, could be the gasket. Exhaust gasses in the coolant so it could be bubbles. get a pressure test done
