the bulbs must have gone. need to take the whole heater bit out and replace the bulbs from behind.
there is a tutorial on it.

I've got to send you turquoise leds, I can stick a couple of standard heater bulbs in for free if you want them. Can also do coloured leds for the heater panel too.
