My front left bolt joint that attaches the wheel to the wishbone broke last saturday. Luckly I managed to save the car with a 20 metre brake mark.

My corsa has 45mm jamex springs and 195/45 R15 marangoni zeta linea tyres.

What could have caused this? I was just driving straight when this happened. Btw bumpy roads are common where I live.

Lack of maintenance that's what happened
And what about checking the bushings and all balljoints

Hard to see metal fatigue really ^

This happened to Brad not long ago running 19's and he wrote his car off What kind of age/mileage is your Corsa? It is common amongst the rally people that this happens unless they are changed quite often or upgraded to uni-balls but they are OTT and VERY expensive. Ball joints go for around £18 each trade price at Vauxhall.

your wheels are wrong offset?

i have that problem, as i am running 15x205 wheels and 45/195 on an ET35 offset.

it also may be a nackered wheel bearing, or your tracking may be out? - costs about £15 to get it checked and sorted.
