someone suggested it to me other day at moment got a imerscher back box and straight pipe to it so wot do i need to do cat it and will it sound better and gain bhp thanks

I think they meant a straight through centre section, not a de-cat.

Has been said around here before that cat is part of the manifold on a C, or is at least too close to the manifold that would be difficult to de-cat...?
