Will MP3 Headunits read the tracks if i write them to a DVD-R ? Or is it strictly CD's only?

CD's and CDRW's only unless the headunit is a DVD player aswell as an MP3 player.

Is 700meg of MP3 not enough for you? Just get a CD changer for the unit, what headunit is it?

6x 700 meg = 4.2 gig, not far off a DVD-R

Its an Alpine 9812. I just liked the idea of having all my tracks on one disc, rather than on a couple
