hi ya guys im after a replacement engine for my 1.28v, 1.4 8v came to mind its a 95 corsa b,where do i hunt for one, how much does this sort of work cost.
and does anyone have an engine for sale???

whats the point when im happy with how my cars coming on just want it to go faster ,especially when an engine convo should only be about £500 for this engine

Buy a new car..... by the looks of your Avatar it isnt exactly extreme.... wheels can be taken etc etc....

It will be MUCH MUCH more viable to just buy the car in the 1st place, less hassle with V5, insurance and re-sale....

You can get 1.4 8v engines for under £100 by the way... But there isnt a huge leap to from the 1.2 basically they're both pants.

I think you can get 1.6 16v fitted for £700, correct me if im wrong...

surely fitting a 1.4 8v involves minimal work from a 1.2 8v, and if its a MPi from SRi then the 45bhp to 82bhp engine wil be very noticable.

i have a 1.4 16v 59k engine from weekend on maybe. put a 1.6 in mine coz cambelt went on 1.4 but going to get head off and have a look if its done any damage if not you can have for a good price.
