right iv heard a few things about putting an air filter on my car (corsa c 1.2 16v)
iv heard an air filter will go straight on, sound gr8 and will b 
iv also heard id need to have my ecu bridged 
wot have ppls had dun on their cars?
also wot u reckon is best filter?

I just waked a pipercross panel filter in, aint done nething else but take the ld one out and replace it wi the new one.
OH WAIT! i drilled holes in the air box to give it a kinda induction kit roar, only roars when ya moving tho.

if it's just a filter then go for a K&N one mate. Some people have said that they've noticed their cars get slightly more responsive and they give a better sound.

it does, i couldn't hear any difference giving it a blast when i was parked up, had to wait till i got ba back box to compete wi all other dick heads randomly revving at the cruise! lol

I know, i might get one, saw a nova with 2 flamer kits other week! almost had ma legs burt off aswell! you wann buy it for me? theres one on potn for abound £100 but I'm sure ya can get 'em cheaper than that!

Induction "roars" are stupid on a Corsa 1.2, I'd much rather just fit a panel filter and listen to the radio.

Stick to foam filters - cotton gauze is a joke and will clog three times faster than foam.

ah, I've broken my radio! lol, i accidentally pulled the end off the arial which plugs into the head unit. the damn cable goin into the standard casette player was too short and was pullin on it a bit too much mee thinks! lol cba to get a new one right yet.
I hear green air folters are good! my mate has one in his fiesta and he says its good! i think thats foam?

K&N and green cotton air filters are good,
joff just likes to wank over pipercross foam filters
ive got both at the mo piperX and K&N and the K&N is soo much better quality sounds loads better too

I think you'll find Joff didn't specify any particular brand of foam filter, but yes you're correct in assuming Pipercross - they do manufacture the best triple-laminate foam filters in the UK.
Perform a dust-capacity flow test on a cotton-gauze filter and you'll never choose cotton-gauze again.
