batterys only a few months old charges on a trickle charge. Changed alternator today and its still not getting thru.

im thinking dodgy wiring so can anyone describe how it should be please?

on my let one of the bolts holding the alternator had snapped and wasnt earthing i think. check wiring, all it can be i woulda thought

Loose alternator belt, naffed regulator/alternator, alternator wires severed/loose, snapped belt.

new belt, alternator, battery. Wiring looks ok. still not charging.

goes from the bolt on the slider bit to the bolt into the cyl head? tis present and correct.

Whats the voltage on your battery with engine on/off?

If yove changed the alt batt & belt then it HAS to be the wiring...
