going into buy some 17inch alloys tommorow, what offset am i looking for on the corsa b ?. Any advice on what kind to get... best suited etc

as close to et49 as poss, mine are et45 and rub a little on the back arches when going over bumps apart from that its fine (17" dare v2's)

Yep should be, might have to do very minor work like taking of the bolts that hold the arches on.. but should be good!!

Outer.
Go for 49 unless they're wider than 7.5 in which case you might need 45 to bring them further away from the inside.

so 49 is the best target.... this 7.5 ur talking about ian whats this size about the bolt ?, also i will be looking at lowering spring tommorow its only 40mm spring u can use on 17s am i right ?

7.5" wide wheels. At 49mm offset they may be too close to the inside of the arch. I don't know the exact figures but I'm sure it would be too close.

so the lower the offset say from 49 down to 45 the more further away from the arch the wheel becomes, or is it the wheel wideness the is the problem not the offset
