i had a problem last week that when i was driving to work in the morning and my engine management light came on i took it too a garage that put it on a basic diagnostic that said it was an ignition coil but the light never came on and that was on saturday then this morning i left the house early and the same has happened could it be anything to do with that the car has a k and n induction kit bacause im thinkin the engine could be getting to much cold air first thing in the mornin can anyone give me advice or help on the problem the car is a 1.4 corsa sport

its alright most of the time just can judder alot when drivin i try keep the revs up and its okay

any worse when warm/cold ? how does it idle ?

it worse in the morning, the car idles about 900 but when engine management light comes on the revs go from 800 to 1100 like the car is hunting for fuel

idle control valve mate, or coolant temp sensor

would you say its worth getting an engine diagnostic test on the car or too just replace them two parts

get a test done first, the ecu will have stored the code anyway, icv can be cleaned and the temp sensor will be 20-30quid
