alrite guys soon shall be purchasing some alpine components for up front.

basically i want to know what the deal is with crossovers? do you attach the speaker wires (already in the doors) to the crossover,and then the tweeter and mid run from the crossover?

That is correct! however it is advisable that you run new wires into the door

nope not yet

if a headunit had 3 outputs, left right and sub,possible to run comps of L & R ones yea?

If the headunit's got 3 outputs, its more likely to be Front, Rear & Sub...

In this case, you would amp the front outputs (left & right of course) & connect to the front components.

hmmm so the front comps would be running with original wires from the corsa but amped then?

No if you get an amp, you ususally would lay new power cables and new speaker wire.
