the head bolts are strectch bolts and thats why they have gotta be replaced. and i believe that they are angle tightened and not torqued up. on the 16v engine they are anyway

8v engine is a piece of piss to do. 16v engine is an absolute nightmare cos of the intake system being like frigging spaghetti junction

did my own head gasket for £20 for a complete head set with new bolts and it took me about 2 hours
