So what tyres have you got, had and how would you rate them.
Ive only really had experience with a few different tyres, proper tyres i mean, performance jobbies.
Bridgestone Potenza S-03
What a fantastic tyre for the dry summer months, best tyre ive had for dry grip, in the wet they were a bit of a dog and they tramlined like fook though. Was a hard ride and they were heavy though. They wore out in 12 months, and i mean out, no tread just smooth bumps.
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3
Another sticky tyre, they would grab on round any corner at any speed you like without even a squeal, they would just turn in. very good and got even better in the wet. These were both light and a softer ride. These wore out a bit quicker, only 10 months before they got literally undriveable/dangerous
Yokohama A539
Again, fasten in or your gonna be stuck to the window round this roundabout, they hooked in, but jesus did the tread disappear, wont be buying them again. Heavy too
Dunlop SP9000
Not too good of a tyre but came standard on my car so i wore em down, what can you say, mediocre performance from a mediocre tyre. Last ages though
Avon ZZ1
Wasnt too impressed with the Avons, would let go, not as bad as the dunlops,and would hope for better seein as they were more expensive than em, these lasted quite a time too

avon zv1s came on my wheels, they were awesome after budget tyres on 14s, but in al honesty not that grippy in the dry and certainly not on the wet.
Uniroyal raisports on now and they are unreal, sooo much grip in the wet, although not as good in the dry as others ive been told. tread is wearing quite quickly on the fronts, but i can excuse them as ive been driving like a cnut since i got them!

Conti EcoContact3 & Conti PremiumContact - Can't fault them, wet or dry, the tread lasts for thousands of miles. Fairly cheap, too.
Pirelli P6000 - Couldn't tell the difference between these and the cheaper Contis, although it was a different car. Except on ice/snow/water, they don't seem to have quite as good grip as the Premium Contacts.

yea was lookin at some ContiSportContacts and was told they last forever, but might be able to get some Toyo T1-Rs for trade so looks like ill be trying the proxes out next

i had pirelli p7000 they seemed ok when i had the 19's
now on bf goodrick with the 20's not yet tried them properly although they spin easy or did when i tried it on my road

conti sport contacts: light and great alround
mich pilot exaltos: slightly better than the conti but twice the weight, best tyre for grip all round iv ever had

Kumho Ecstas - came on the wheels when I bought them. Lasted about 10,000 miles but the grip is poo.
Toyo Proxes T1-R - bought these when the Kumhos went bald. Significant improvement over the Kumhos. Front tyres have lasted something like 15k. Due for replacement this weekend but might give a different tyre a try next...

toyo proxes:
great all-round budget tyre. bought them lots of times.
Uniroyal rainsports:
best tyre ive ever used. fantastic in the dry and even better in the wet. long lasting as well, ride quality was far better than the toyo proxes as well. i actually enjoy driving in the wet now

goodyear hydragrips
awesome int he dry. cannot fault the grip and very good in the dry. excellent tyre. well recommended as well as the eagle f1's

Toyo T1-S - Fantasticly amazing in the dry, due to a soft compund which makes them wear quicky. Scary in the wet.

Toyo T1-S cheap not too bad, but wear fast and don't offer as much grip as premium tyre not as good in the wet
F1 GSD3's can't fault them apart form the weight of the tyre itself good sidewall stiffness
A539's briiliant tyre in the dry, cna't be fault, very good track tyre ona buidget stands up to th eabuse better than most road tyres. Shockign in the wet though, light and good side wall stiffness
Rain sports - very good levels of traction, very good in the wet, sl;itlhy better than the F1's, light but the sidewall is too soft, wrecks the turn in feel, would have on the estate car
Uni royal 440's - good budget tyre, I rate it higher than they toyo's but not as high as F1's and alike.
Hankook optima's, good cheap tyre for an everyday car, couldnt' fault them on the estate car. but went hard after a year, and then became poor in the wet.
