i always wanted one, and after using the search and reading a couple of threads, i wondered whether it was even worth having one now as police ones and that are coded now

or something.
so is there any point having one in terms of what it will pick up?

There is really no point in them now as you cant get the police on them

I still have mine and i get eveything apart from police now

Used to be a good laugh when you did get the police on them half the folk that done funny and stupid stuff was really klass

Homebase scanners you can talk to people but i wouldnt chance it as it will be a easy way to get caught with one

Ive got a scanner and can get local emergency frequencies, and plane and marine. Ive had stuff from all over - it lives in the drawer for 363 days of the year.
