ive just had the head gasket done and ive done 80 miles
its just started to tap but not all the time
it only does this when sat still but it tapps for a while then goes away
could this be the bad oil need flushing then dropping with new oil and filter??
if you could help please do

could it be the dirty oil whats causing the tapping or do you think the bloke has not timed it properly

make sure the ingredients are ice cold (must)
half pint of stellar artois in a pint glass fill the rest with
WKD blue or smirnoff ice = tackle

could be that the tappets were not properly squeezed out of the bad oil when they were off. have you checked the oil level?

yes did that flushed the engine out brand new filter and oil jobs a good one
sounds like new
was shiting myself a bit
thought it would the the timings out or something
