how do u measure the size of the speakers.... is it hte size of the actual speaker or from the screw holes?

are you talking about speakers for your parcel shelf?
if so i wud get sum 6x9's if i was u, ther are loads on the market to choose from.

Is it possible to get some connectors off the old smaller speakers and lead them to the 6x9's as i want to upgrade my speakers and dont fancy snipping the old wires.

take the leads from ur new 6x9's to were the original speaker leads used to plug into.

looks alrite to me matey, should sound pretty good, but never heard it for myself so couldnt really be too sure.

i think the first package looks the best there mate, i wud say a 1000w jbl sub is better than that kicker, better quality and looks better aswel.

but thats only cums with a 500 w amp? would that restrict the full potential of the amp or not?

u wudnt get the full potential out of the sub no, but 500w is still pretty gud, especially once u tweek the amp. u wud probably be happy with the 500w amp for a while, then after time if u fell the need to u cud upgrade and get a 1000w amp.

wen replacing the door speakers make sure the new ones arent too deep because i made that mistake and it wouldnt clear the hole in the door which is a bit of a dissaster considering i lost my reciept
