Does anyone know what the speaker sizes are on the corsa 'c', I've just bought a new head-unit and i don't think the original speakers will perform how the head unit is designed.
Cheers

They will perform OK with any HU. Size you need is 6.5" (17cm). You'll need an Autoleads adapter for them though. £12 Halfords. Get good components and amp them up as they will sound so much better.

on a corsa C i believe that they will accept 17cm comps ok (not 100% sure, coz i dont have one).
As for your HU, it wont be putting out 50w per channel, that is max power. The RMS (continuous power) will be about 25wRMS-30wRMS.
Ive just got some infinity 5000cs's (100 quid from halfords), and so far there really good (only got one side in, other door had to be taken apart again ) However, there are seriously under powered (comps need 75wRMS, HU putting out 27wRMS at perfect conditions)...so an amp is the next stage when i get the cash, but ill get someone to install that for me (too much pissing about for my liking).
anyways mate, it all depends how much you've got to spend on a set of comps...but i would recommend the infinity's, so far they sound really clean, but there isnt much meat to them but i assume that because there under powered.
