Car passed its MoT today, only a few items needed changing (pads, wheel bearing).
Anway also recieved a list of minor faults, but nothing major so they couldnt fail its MoT.
1. Emits blue smoke upon accelaration... 
What is the blue smoke??

car does burn a bit of oil (needs to be topped up regulary)
When it is slight burning which i was told, its nothing to be majorly concerned about is it??

I'd say any oil leak or oil burning is something to be concerned about. While it will probabaly keep running ok for some time to come, the fact its burning any oil means *something* must be getting worn or is ont its way out. Its probabaly worth getting it looked at to find out what it could be while its not too bad.
