Anyone done this?

I'm pretty sure i have a vacuum leak somewhere on/around the inlet manifold, so may need to get it off...

Is it easiest to take head off with inlet attached and then attack it?

Am i going to need to drop the engine forward slightly??

yer drop the engine slightly is your best bet.Taking the head off can be a lengthy and time costly .Check the EGR first ,the bolts on mine cam loose somehow which created and massive loss in vacuum

i dont think a 2.0 xe has a egr

jst take the head off much easier bout 2 hours if ur quick. then u can give ur engine a bit of a freshen up with new gaskets and timing belts etc.

inlet comes strait off the xe corsa ned to un-do the alternator to get to the coolent pipe from bottom of the inlet other than that comes strait out with a bit of a squeeze

no not at all and my bulk head aint cut either
