just serviced my corsa
and ive put some oil in (bout 2.5 litres up to now)
but everytime i put my disptick in its not giving me a proper level, its like oil it getting on it from the sides of the dipstick tube ???
it even did this when i only put a litre of oil in
so how much oil should it take ??

Roughly around 3.5 litres mate, make sure the car is on level ground etc. Have you run the engine to get the oil pressure light out?

Do you know what your doing. Put about 3 litres in, run the car till the oil light goes out. Let the car stand for a couple of mins, check the oil and top up as necessary. Will be around 3.5 litres when finished.
