my corsa b is gone, so i am looking for a new ride. which is a better ride? a corsa c 1.2 sxi or saxo 1.4 furio??? keep in mind that i would like to keep it for 3-5 years. so running cost and reliability is important. if anyone out there have driven both of these models, please advice. thanks again for you help!

by the way, please don't say corsa just because this is a corsa forum or u own a corsa. i need someone true opinon on these two models. i have never driven a saxo 1.4 furio but i did own a peugeot 106 xsi once. not sure how much they have in common???

106 xsi is 1.4 16v and the 106 quicksilver and saxo furio are 1.4 8v, imo i would get another 106 xsi, if you can find a mint one or 106 qs

well, i had a 95' 1.6 xsi so it was an 8 valve model and a 97' corsa b 1.6 sport. they were very close in performance. but now i am looking for a little better fuel econ model.

by the way, loed won the jwrc championship in 2001 with a saxo. i know this has nothing to do with a production car, but is the saxo a better driver then other like corsa, punto, puma and etc???

what about a fiat punto sporting?

Subtle bodykit and good performance for a 1.2 16v. 85bhp?

yes! i do like those very much, but i can't find a good one in black. would also like a 2001 and up punto sporting. drove a 1.2 8v once in korfu, and it was ok, but under power.

Well my mate drove his mums elx 1.2 8v and this kicks the shit out of it. He was throwing it around corners to college at around 80ish and it sticks to the road and still does 40mpg+

He is thinking of getting stiffer spring tho.
