my mate at work has a vaux safira and the digi readout/display is coming up 'service needed'or something? how does he go about resetting this or whatever, does he need to go to vauxhall for them to authorise it at all?

ok, i just dont have any idea what else i need apart from the engine/box/wiring. hoping to have everything and get it in at your place in february.

the reset is the same as the corsa c and astra g.
Just put key in ignition, push button that resets the trip meter, then switch ignition on and hold the button untill INSP clears. It usually takes a few secs
if the eml light is on it needs pluging in and the codes read
