I have everything below except the speakers.

Will I be able to connect All of the below so that I have surround sound whilst watching a DVD/playing music through the PC/watching the tele?

DVD Player
http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=SAMS-DVDHD950
Speakers
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/74753/rb/23829637543
TV

Sound Card

The digital/coax/optical ports are confusing me.

Thanks
Jam

right, having looked at the links, I would suggest the following...

Connect the speakers to the DVD player as normal (digital connection).

Hook up the DVD player and TV with a component or HDMI cable. This will give you the best possible picture quailty (576p).

I would see if you could get some sort of coaxial splitter cable that would allow you to connect the speakers to your sound card. Either that or just whip it out of your DVD player when you want to listen to music on your PC.

Think that's it.... some nice kit there mate good price on the TV also.

Is your PC situated quite close to your TV/DVD player then?

games will sound great through it mate.

That's something I've noticed when playing COD3 on the 360. I have that hooked up to my Denon via an Optical cable and when someone calls an airstrike you hear the explosions going off all around you

You'll be needing 3 optical (TOSLINK) cables and need to hook it up like this....

--------Speakers---------
--------------|--------------
--------------|--------------
---------Splitter-----------
-----------/---\-------------
----------/-----\------------
---------/-------\-----------
------DVD----Sound Card

didn't realise they had 2 mate. In that case you won't need a splitter. I'm not sure how those speakers work but I think you get some sort of control centre with them. Say if you're watching TV but want to use your PC, you just have to switch the input on the control panel thing.
