just put some new disks on, drilled and grooved obviously, and when i brake they tick as the wheel turns, both sides, ive put em on right, everything it tightened, etc etc, so just wonderin if
A) they are fooked for some reason...
or
B) this is being caused from the grooves or something and is nothing to worry about?
cheers

the wheel spins fine without any sound when the brakes are off, just when i apply them
the holes have a slight inward curve at the edge, but the grooves are just a straight cut in the disk basically, no curved edge or anything

no dude ive looked at that cos i got a stone drive
my stopping power seems like it was, so i reckon it might just be the grooves making a noise as the pad brushes past or something?

yeh, the metal plate that goes around the disc at the back, mine was rubbing, had a score marks al over the disc!
best thing to do is to jack the car up (wheel off), start the car in neutral, and the disc should spin, listen for any nosies

it does this on my drilled and grooved 2lt set up mate. Its the pads on the grooves and the braking "feel" will get better after the discs have bedded in after about 200 miles.
