yep, its quite weird when it starts itself to charge the battery lol.
my insurance company dont know about the remote start.......just know that its a clifford cat1
its not possible to start mine in gear (easily) as to arm it ready for the remote start yo have to have the engine running.
and it stays running once the keys removed - untill you lock it
if the brake pedal is touched or bonnet opened etc, it will stop.

yes, although...they would still need to start it......without the alarm sounding.
so they would need the fob.
and break the steering lock..
