Yes it does, you have to declare all bans, endorsements and accidents, so your insurer will know...

Have you ever had your licence revoked robin? No oh right I have!

Bans endorsements and accidents, what about revokes NO

I have been there done it got the T shirt.

You don;t have to tell your insurance about the ban because you don;t get banned, you have your licence revoked.

I got 6 points in my first 2 years, had to take all my tests again and apply for my provisional again. Also got a fine of £162. Was without a licence for a month.

I informed my insurer (adrian flux) and it DID NOT go down as a ban.

Happy dud you won't have a ban on your licence but you will still have the 6 points. I forget what it cost me but it was a lot.

I didn't bother with lessons, i just booked driving instructors car for one hour for the test (easier than doing it in your own car)
From then on it came easy the actual test was enjoyable for a change. The theory was the worst part I found!

The point is you are supposed to relearn the laws of driving during the theory and test.

Also it cost you a lot of cash and your off the road for about 6 weeks!

It means you learn the lesson that all coppers are bent and they are above the law. (or at least thats the lesson i learnt)

I did declare it, but they said it wouldn't affect my insurance, and it will not go down as a ban. The only thing that affected my insurance was the 6points
