Right, got a dilemma!!

Im doing an engine conversion, which requires me to change the SPI fuel pump i have to an MPI one for the new engine! BUT... i have a flapping big ICE install where the rear seats used to be, and hence over the access cover to the fuel pump!!

Is there any way to change the fuel pump over from under the car? So that i dont have to take the whole install out!!

Help appreciated!

no, it's IN the tank, so you have to access it from above, through the inspection hatch. (unless you take the tank off)

you can do it from underneath but you will have to take the exhaust off and undo the straps that hold up the tank, u should be able to lower it enough to get to the access cover at the top to change the pump...
