Hi all. Sorry for what could be an obvious question, i'm new to all this.
My question is will 16" wheels with 195/45 tyres fit a vauxhall corsa b? The car is on stock suspension at the moment so if I were to lower it in the future would I have any problems with these tyres?

Many thanks
Shaun

Its the offset you mainly need to worry about, if thats 45-49 then yes that tyre size will be fine.

i was down 60mm on my old 16s et45, did minor arch work to the back and could have one person in the back without any scrubbing,
now on 16 with et49 and lowered 90mm at the back and get no scrubbing with 2 people in the back

would the 60mm lowering be ok on 16's with a et49 offset without any arch work? thinking of getting 195/40r16 tyres. also is is better to get shocks and springs or could i get away with just springs as there is nothing wrong with the shocks on the car.

that will be fine, could have a full car and shouldnt get any scrubbing

the 195/40/16 look so much better but theres not many decent tyre companies that make that size
