right can you tell me somethin... do at least one end of the speaker wires come free?

ie so i can thread it through a hole?

im sure they must be but pc speakers are usually gay and hardwired

does it have an amp/sub?

usually the 5 or 7 satellite speakers will connect to the amp/sub unit, where 3 wires from that will goto your soundcard.

Yes, there will be one end of the cable which will be free.

cheers. thing is i have to buy em from argos (got vouchers!) so cant see beforehand.
