Im just wondering if its possible and if so how -

Creating a search in a database which will use a text box on a form instead of a query that pops up a box

bit vague i know, but if someone gets me, much appreciated.

Create a query as normal, and set the where criteria for the field you want to:

code:
Form![Form_Name]![Text_Box_Name]

It might be Forms! and not Form!, I can't remember off the top of my head.
You could use
code:
"*"+Form![Form_Name]![Text_Box_Name]+"*"

to search for any items that contain the text in the textbox rather than match it exactly.

edit: Then just have a button execute that query
