Hi, I have a corsa 1.6 16v Sport and everytime i put my foot down the steering wheel turns fast to the left and the car goes straight towards the kerb. Ive had lazer tracking and it still steers to the left and ive had new springs put on and my wheels are balanced. The only thing i can think it could be is i had a bump on the front left side last year but i didnt hit the car infront that hard it was only a little bump. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be so I can fix it before i kill myself? cheers

I would think its something to do with the suspension on the left side. I would look for damaged/out of line strut or damage to the wishbone (think thats what its called)

track rod end? if theyve been changed or fiddled with could be worth looking at.

All i can think of wud be damage to the tyre like a bibble or sumthing, but u say it steers quite hard towards the kerb so this could be wrong

defo sounds like its the bump that has caused this, i had the same problem in my old car and it was the whole front beam that was knocked out of alignment

its not the tyres cos ive had new front tyres since it started to steer left!
how much did it cost to get urs fixed cam1?
Also when it steers to the left it feels like the left wheel is more powerfull than the right wheel when it put my foot down, i can feel the left wheel spinning more than the right....hard to explain really lol cheers

Lack of grip on one wheel is likely to be a camber problem. Look from the front of the car. The left wheel and right wheel should have the same amount of angle. If not, thats why your car pulls and one spins.

Firstly, before you get in a tizz, have a look at it. If the camber looks OK, it's not that.
If it looks on the piss, a suspension component may be damaged.
