Couple of the plugs have started to go brown on the base of the white bit. What normally causes this to happen? Running lean? Would the CTS be to blame for this?

Changed them about a year ago and done 2500miles on them

They are NGK ones aswell

hot plugs is a sign of running lean although brownish deposits can also mean a healthy engine.
