Hi I know this is a Corsa forum etc but a mate from work is having issues with his Vectra cutting out when he's slowing to a stop.
I think it might be a dirty throttle body or maybe coil pack or something, idle control valve maybe?
Does anyone have any idea what else this could be or if I'm completely wrong?

Engine Size?
Year of Vectra or engine code?
It idle ok on tick over?
It do it all the time or just when warm etc?

Don't want to steal his thunder, but I'm having trouble with my Audi A4. At idle the revs jump up and down by a few hundred revs constantly... And if I let the car roll with no acceration (as soon as I've set off) the car jumps forward in time with the revs. What the hell

Problem persists as soon as the engine has started, until i switch it off

All the time.
It also cuts out randomly while turning a corner. Scary thing is, I loose brakes (or at least they're harder to operate)

The throttle body might need cleaning out, fail that, idle valve is defineatly worth a try.

throttle position sensor, does the abs work? and the speedo if not then that may be it
