NOT Virgin Media or AOL.
There's two more off the list.
I'd go for Pipex or Plus Net.

I would never of thought about touching AOL due to seeing some of the problems there software causes, however someone i know is with them and apparently they have had no issues at all

You might want to give Demon a miss too, randomly disconnects. It will reconnect again but is very tiresome.

Myself and Ian (i think, maybe Tim cant remember) Are with plusnet.
Im very happy with them and also use their business package at work.
Get a varied download speed on torrents depending on seeders etc, from 30kbs to 500kbs and im on an 8mb line.
Im paying £20 a month for a 20 gig limit between 4pm-12pm and unlimited outside of those hours.
I also usually have the lowest ping in any game server.
I would deffo recommend them. Give me a shout if your interested, i will refer you

We have our phone with Toucan, which is part of Pipex, well the BB they provide is anyway. I've checked about switching to Toucan/Pipex for the BB and every review I've read on the internet says their customer service is terrible.
Whilst typing this my Demon line disconnected

I'm with pipex and have been for around 3 years. Not had a single problem and the connection hasn't dropped once. I was on quite an old contract and was paying £24 a month for a 1MB connection, so I called them up and they upgraded my line to the max contract (up to 8mb) with 2 months free. I did a speed test and it showed 6mb transfer rate
