Right quick question ive ran out of the detailer can i use water in the spray form instead as long as i keep it wet on the panels?

safe- probably, might get a streaky finnish tho- halfords sell the detailer separate- its called quick detailer

I think the detailer lifts dirt as well though

I was going to say i think the detailer is of some importance regarding the removal of dirt/stubborn bits.

In my head id imagine it to be like a very very weak form of auto glym intensive tar remover, sort of

think it will protect the paint more compared to water as it is lifting it from the paint and to the clay, rather then rubbing the dirt about on the paint.

I dont know any science behind it though im purely straw clutching
