Need help for a mate, basically hes got 2x Vibe Slick 6"x9" speakers which he wants to run off an amplifier.
The amplifier he wants to use is a monoblock alpine one which only has one channel, he wants to know if he could somehow run the 2 speakers of that 1 channel?
Thanks in Advance
Adam

Could do, but would not get a stereo signal, so the speakers would not play as left rear and right rear - they would just be 'rear'.
Will also sound pretty shocking to be honest, he would be much better off selling the Alpine and buying a more suitable amp - not to mention he would probably make money in the process.

It will work, but won't sound good.
Those speakers are 4 ohms each resistance, and by running them off one channel means he is running them at 2 ohms.
This will result in more power being drawn from the amp, which should be fine providing the amp can handle 2 ohms, but I'm presuming it can as I don't know an Alpine monoblock that can't.
It will slowly kill the speakers though, not to mention the fact that the amp is worth a lot more than just a 2 channel speaker amp!
