If you bought a BT home hub router thing from eBay wioll it work with any ISP or not? Presumably underneath it all its just a wireless router?

im just looking through my HomeHubs menus and i think its locked to the BT stuff, as far as i can see you cannot change these settings, I.E. no configure button

ok tr5anslation - you can put new hacked software on the homehub to allow you to use it as a router but then cant use the phone, or you can do it the other way round (unless u have bt broadband, in which case can use both at the same time)

Overall though, I would rather have a good router and a good landline phone separately, cos they are both below my normal standard of technology, if I had bought it i would take it back saying it wasnt good enough
