hardly see any 1.2 8vs on here. and tbh its not hard to see with only 45bhp! im reluctant to replace the engine and would rather try and get as much power as possible out of it! Iv done the basics: de-cat pipe, filter, and back box! need some thing else tho??!! unshure wether to go for fast road cam and tubular manifold?? If anyone has any advise on tuning the 1.2 8v engine then please contact me!

hi mate iv got a 1.2 8v ,did my head in ,i know how you feel  .it isnt worth messing around with just buy a bigger engine thats wat iv done .upgrade to a 1.4 8v or gsi engine .

i kept my 1.2 8v.....think it was fed up with my driving....so i had to get a new engine....best thing i ever did

ive got a 1.2 8v, ive got an enlarged tb and inlet manifold and im going to be fitting a nova sr cam soon, with a decent exhaust manfifold and decat should see around 15bhp more....
